Company collects data from you through interactions with you and through our products. Data is collected mainly from: 1) you as you provide data directly, and 2) your interactions, use, and experiences with our website or products.

Company uses the data we collect to create an online experience and provide our products, which includes updating, securing, and troubleshooting, as well as providing support.

It also includes sharing data, when it is required to provide the service or carry out the transactions you request.

Where we store and process data

Personal data collected by Company may be stored and processed in your region, and in any other country where Company or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers operate.

Company uses HubSpot, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure cloud to collect, store and process personal data primarily. List of countries where data centers of these services are located can be found at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/global-infrastructure/geographies/

Company rely also on technologies from other providers, such as webhosting services, their data centers are located in European Union.

Our retention of personal data

Company retains personal data for as long as necessary to provide the products and fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other legitimate purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.

Because these needs can vary for different data types, the context of our interactions with you or your use of products, actual retention periods can vary.

Other criteria used to determine the retention periods include:

  • If the personal data is of a sensitive type a shortened retention time would generally be adopted.
  • If the user provided consent for a longer retention period, we will retain data in accordance with your consent.
  • If Tangent Works is subject to a legal, contractual, or similar obligation to retain or delete the data, we will do so.

You can change your mind at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email from us. We use HubSpot as our Marketing Automation Platform. Company does not support or encourage and will take all reasonable measures to ensure the prohibition and removal from our websites of all material which is or is likely to be interpreted, in Company ‘s opinion, as libelous, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, indecent, obscene or pornographic.

Diagnostic data is used to keep our products secure, available up to date; to detect, diagnose, and remediate problems; and make product improvements. This data does not include a user’s name or email address, the content of the user’s files.
